Qualifications and Experience:

Current certification or licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist, with credentials appropriate to the imaging specialty Demonstrated experience in diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures Proficiency with Cath Lab imaging equipment and software Familiarity with sterile technique and radiation safety guidelines Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and communication skills Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced clinical settings CPR/BLS certification required (ACLS preferred) Prior experience in a similar role within a hospital or cardiology setting

Responsibilities:

Operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization, angiographic studies, and related procedures Prepare and maintain cath lab environment, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and ready for use Assist physicians with catheter insertions, wire placements, stent deployments, and device manipulations Monitor patient status, vital signs, and safety throughout procedures Maintain accurate procedural documentation and records in compliance with facility standards Perform quality assurance checks and assist with inventory management of lab supplies Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and ancillary staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
