A partner with the Jewish United Fund in serving our community Responsible for providing all Special Procedure and Cath Lab procedures in accordance with department policy and procedure as well as IDNS regulatory standards. Ensures compliance with all IEMA regulatory standards as applicable to Radiology and Radiation Protection for patients and staff in area. Responsible for ensuring department patient schedule is complete and ensures daily reconciliation of Open Order Report.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Graduate of an accredited echocardiography training program or four years of clinical work experience as an echo cardiographer. Must be eligible to sit for the ARDMS or CCI examinations.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
Must have four years of clinical work experience as an echo cardiographer if not a graduate of an accredited echocardiography training program.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS
Must obtain one of the following certifications within 2 years: o Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) o Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) o Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Benefits Medical / Dental / Vision PTO 403 b with matching contributions
