10-11 call shifts per month 2 weekends per month (F/Sa/Su); included in the 10-11 shifts per month 1530-0700 for weekdays; weekend is 1530 Friday 0700 Monday 30-minute response time Three person call team: 1 nurse, 1 tech, 1 nurse or tech No sleep rooms

2 Cath Labs, 1 EP Room, 1 Hybrid Room Daily average case load: 10-12
Experience:
2 years Cath Lab experience for RNs and Tech Will you accept a first-time traveler:
No Patient Types:
Adults only , inpatient, outpatient Intra-procedural only, no pre/post experience needed or performed by staff Cath Lab Diagnostic and interventional heart caths, right heart cath, Impella, balloon pump, thrombectomies (with Anarai and Penumbra), high risk procedures, STEMI/MI, some CTOs, PFO closure EP Pacemakers (temp and permanent), tilt table tests, ablations, MitraClip Hybrid AAA repair, Watchman, TAVR, carotids
Required Certifications:
RN:
BLS, ACLS
Tech:
IEMA (IL license), ARRT, BLS, ACLS Skills required
RN:
Circulate, sedate, cardiac rhythm interpretation, Impella, balloon pump. Hemodynamic monitoring experience preferred
Tech:
Scrub and pan simultaneously, Impella, balloon pump, hemodynamic monitoring
Both:
Hybrid and EP experience is not required, but it is preferred Support on the
Unit:
Charge Nurse:
Yes, will sometimes take a patient assignment or help fill in for breaks, but typically will not take an assignment

Hospitalist:
24/7
Cardiologist:
During the day, on call at night Transportation is available for IR patients, not Cath Lab RRT/Code Team will respond to codes in the lab
