Job Description

Summary Seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist specialized in invasive cardiac procedures to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team on a temporary basis. This role involves assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile conditions, operating and monitoring imaging equipment, and supporting physicians during cardiac catheterizations. The position offers an opportunity to work in a specialized environment with no call or weekend requirements, providing a stable and focused work experience for experienced cath lab professionals. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (hospital-based or college) Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) IEMA license or certification Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or American Red Cross 1 year of cath lab experience, including scrubbing and monitoring/documenting procedures Ability to follow directions, perform independently, and function effectively under stress
Preferred:
ACLS certification and experience in comprehensive IR labs Responsibilities Support physicians during cardiac catheterizations and other interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab Monitor and operate radiologic and specialized imaging equipment Assist in maintaining a sterile field and passing instruments Observe and evaluate patient responses to procedures Interpret diagnostic data for physician use Ensure radiation safety principles, including ALARA, are practiced Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information Benefits No call or weekend work required Temporary contract with potential for future opportunities Engaged in specialized procedures in a professional healthcare setting Focused work environment with consistent day shifts from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm #LI-LG1
