1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week cardiac cath lab assignment in Illinois. Details Work in a hospital-based cardiac cath lab with 2 procedure rooms Average caseload of 5 cases per day Cases include left/right heart cath, pacemaker/ICD implantation, loop recorder implants, peripheral vascular interventions, and STEMI interventions 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Typically 1 weekend shift per month required On-call required approximately 12 days per month with a 30-minute response time Epic EMR experience required No floating outside of assigned unit Requirements Minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience required Basic interventional radiology experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certification required Valid Illinois state license required (pending license accepted) License required if applicable Epic EMR proficiency required Must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information Perform left/right heart catheterization, pacemaker and ICD implantation, loop recorder implants, peripheral vascular interventions, and STEMI interventions First-time travelers will be considered, though travel experience is preferred Scrubs are provided by the facility Parking is free in any unrestricted space Block scheduling requests are subject to manager discretion Limited to 1 RTO request per contract
