Job Description
Ready to love your career as a Cardiac Sonographer while making a heart-healthy impact every day? ❤️
This Cardiac Sonographer role is tailored for a growth-minded professional seeking a mission-driven, patient-first culture backed by measurable outcomes, strong quality and safety scores, and an innovation-forward mindset; as a Cardiac Sonographer or Echo Ultrasonograpger, expect access to advanced imaging platforms, AI-assisted diagnostics, streamlined EHR workflows, and high-acuity cardiac cases that accelerate skills, all within an award-winning workplace culture that champions wellbeing, continuous learning, transparent career pathways, and the kind of brand reputation that adds instant shine to any echocardiography resume.
In the Radiology and broader diagnostic imaging services environment, the Cardiac Sonographer will thrive in a collaborative medical imaging setting closely aligned with cardiology and ultrasound operations; the Echo Ultrasonograpger will contribute within a department that is an award-winning, locally owned medical hub serving parts of Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa, and its core strengths are its nationally recognized clinical quality, patient-focused care, and comprehensive access to advanced medical specialties close to home, with the hospital featuring nearly 350-beds to support a robust spectrum of inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular diagnostics.
Reporting to an Imaging Services Manager and partnering daily with a Lead Echo Technologist, board-certified cardiologists, and electrophysiology specialists, the Cardiac Sonographer will receive strong clinical support, ready access to protocols and decision support, and mentorship from friendly nurses and a diverse healthcare professional team; as an Echo Ultrasonograpger, typical responsibilities include high-quality adult transthoracic studies, assistance with stress echocardiography, TEE support in coordination with physicians, image optimization and measurement accuracy, sonographic QA, prompt documentation in the EHR, and compassionate patient education—within a setting that values shared governance, feedback loops, and frontline-driven improvement.
Located in western Illinois, this Cardiac Sonographer opportunity places a professional in a region known for Mississippi River views, four-season outdoor recreation, and easy access to concerts, regional attractions, and collegiate events; the Echo Ultrasonograpger will appreciate a balanced lifestyle with affordable cost of living, diverse housing options from historic districts to new builds, short commutes, growing job markets, strong K-12 schools and nearby higher education, abundant parks and greenways, inclusive community life, local arts and theater, competitive youth and adult sports, modern fitness amenities, everyday shopping convenience, family-friendly neighborhoods, senior services, reliable broadband, clean air and open skies, favorable taxes and regulations, supportive small-business ecosystems for entrepreneurship, low natural hazard risk, charming architecture, fun nightlife pockets, pet-friendly trails, accessible public services, year-round community festivals, tidy streets and services, quick access to nature preserves, and a sense of privacy without sacrificing connection.
Offering competitive compensation, differentials, incentives, and a comprehensive suite of health, wellness, and retirement benefits, this Cardiac Sonographer position is a smart career move for long-term growth and day-one impact; connect with a Clinical Management Consultants recruiter today to discover how the Echo Ultrasonograpger skill set can shine in this role—send a quick message, start a confidential conversation, and let your next chapter begin now. 🩺
