Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Step into an essential role supporting advanced cardiovascular procedures as a Cath Lab Technologist. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic clinical environment with a patient-centered focus on imaging within the cath lab setting.
Schedule:
3 x 12-hour shifts, days
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved School of Radiology Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Valid Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification At least one year of direct patient care experience Completion of radiation safety classes within 90 days of employment
Key Responsibilities:
Operate cath lab imaging equipment according to established protocols Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, safe patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety policies and infection control practices Prepare procedural rooms, manage sterile supplies, and assist with patient monitoring throughout procedures Document patient information, imaging results, and procedural data accurately in medical records Respond swiftly to emergent situations in the lab and provide support as needed during procedures
Compensation and Benefits:
