1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience and required RCIS or ARRT certification. Details Work in a Level I trauma, Magnet-designated acute care hospital with 562 staffed beds Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting Adult and older adult patient population No IR procedures performed Uses Cerner charting system 4x12 or 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM Works 2-3 weekends per contract On-call required as needed on a rotating basis with a dedicated call team No floating required within scope Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in Cardiac Cath Lab required BLS and ACLS certification required RCIS or ARRT-R certification required (ARRT-R preferred) License required if applicable Cerner charting experience required Experience with Cardiac Implant Closure Devices, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations, IABP Placement/Removal, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, PCI, PTCA, and Rotablator Atherectomy required Skilled in interpretation of dysrhythmias and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias Experience with equipment setup, scrubbing, and maintaining sterile field required Proficient in isolation precautions and sterile technique Additional Information Responsibilities include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, equipment setup, and room circulator duties Scrubs provided First-time travelers accepted Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction RTO ideally no more than 5 days Must work 2 of 3 major holidays Previous perm or PRN employees must be separated from the facility for at least 12 months before returning as a travel candidate Assignment length flexible from 13 to 26 weeks
