1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with strong interventional and STEMI experience, including scrub experience with TVARs, Watchman, and Ablations, for a 13-week travel contract at a short-term acute care hospital. Details Short-term acute care hospital setting, Cardiac Cath Lab unit Alternating day shifts: 4x10-hour shifts, either 7:30 AM-6:00 PM or 6:30 AM-5:00 PM On-call required: approximately 10-12 call shifts per month with a 30-minute response time; call duration is 12-14 hours and begins at shift completion, or at 5:00 PM on non-working days Charting performed in Cerner (experience required) Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital Requirements Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab experience Strong experience with interventional procedures and STEMI management Scrub experience with TVARs, Watchman, and Ablations required Active ARRT(R) certification required Current ACLS and BLS (AHA or RQI accepted) required Active Indiana or Compact state license required; pending license accepted if application has been submitted Cerner EMR experience required 2 supervisor references required for consideration SSN and DOB required for consideration License required if applicable Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Indiana residents are considered local candidates and are accepted at a lower pay package Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays Up to 5 days of RTO can be auto-approved Former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler Current or past IU Health travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break
