Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full Time Pacemaker Technician to join our dynamic cardiology team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the precise testing, programming, and troubleshooting of cardiac pacemakers and implantable devices. Your expertise will ensure optimal device performance, patient safety, and comfort. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced medical environment where your skills directly impact patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and a passion for advancing cardiac care. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive testing and calibration of pacemakers and other implantable cardiac devices to ensure proper functioning. Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological responses during device evaluation to assess device performance and patient stability. Maintain accurate documentation of device settings, test results, and procedural notes in compliance with hospital protocols. Educate patients on device operation, post-procedure care, and answer any questions regarding their pacemaker or related devices. Follow strict aseptic techniques during all procedures to prevent infections and ensure patient safety. Keep current with advancements in interventional cardiology techniques, and relevant medical terminology to provide expert support. Skills Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures. Proficiency in interpreting data, vital signs, and diagnostic evaluations related to cardiac function. Familiarity with the anatomy of the heart and vascular system to accurately troubleshoot device issues. Ability to operate specialized equipment used in interventional cardiology and telemetry monitoring systems. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
