1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years experience in vascular, neurovascular, and body IR to support a stroke thrombectomy program. Details Interventional Radiology unit in a short-term acute care hospital with 449 staffed beds Day shift schedule of 5x8 hours, typically starting at 7:00 AM with one late day per week starting at 8:00 AM Daily caseload of 10-15 cases per technologist Call requirement of 1 night per week plus every 4th weekend on-call rotation Participation in call pick-up rotation required, including holiday call as needed No floating within scope or to sister facilities required Uses GE and Siemens fluoro rooms Cerner charting system Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience as an IR Technologist Experience scrubbing cases and familiarity with wires Experience with vascular IR including endografts, neurovascular, trauma, and body IR Neurovascular IR experience required due to stroke thrombectomy program Active state license required by start date; pending license accepted if active by start License required if applicable Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered Scrubs provided Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
