Job Description
Kansas Medical Center (KMC) is adding a Unit Clerk to the Emergency Department! Wednesdays and Thursdays 7p - 7a. Strong teamwork and communication skills are a must as well as organizational skills, and computer familiarity. We need to make our patients feel welcomed, well cared for, and comfortable all while working efficiently toward the next patient in line. Previous experience is very much preferred; knowledge of Cerner is very helpful! Candidates with previous experience will be considered first. Kansas Medical Center is a fully physician owned 58 bed hospital offering a wide array of specialties for both inpatient and outpatient services. We have 6 operating rooms, 2 procedure rooms, 2 Cath Labs, and outpatient services that include X-ray, CT, MRI, PET, PT, Lab, and Cardiac Rehab. In addition to our main campus, KMC operates 3 Family Practice clinics, a large cardiology clinic and multiple cardiology outreach clinics throughout the state of Kansas.
