Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting patient care as a Cath Lab Tech in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work alongside talented professionals, utilizing state-of-the-art imaging technology to provide critical diagnostic and interventional services.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or equivalent preferred) Previous experience in a Cath Lab, demonstrating knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures Proficiency in conducting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures Ability to perform patient monitoring and demonstrate comfort in high-acuity clinical settings Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff Commitment to safety standards, infection control practices, and quality patient outcomesPrimary Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate imaging and monitoring equipment for cardiac procedures Assist physicians during diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures (stent placement, angioplasty, etc.) Maintain a sterile field and adhere to procedural protocols at all times Monitor patient vital signs and document findings throughout each procedure Support pre- and post-procedure patient care, including patient education and procedural preparation Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure regulatory compliance with facility standards This is your opportunity to enhance your clinical expertise and contribute to a collaborative care team in a highly specialized setting.
