Job Summary and Qualifications As a Cardiac Sonographer, you perform and maintains records of various types of echocardiograms for the cardiac patient population. What you should expect to do in this role: Performs various types of echocardiograms of cardiac patients Maintains and troubleshoots ultrasound equipment Maintains/Operates High Level Disinfecting TEE probe cleaner per manufacturer's recommendations Documents and maintains accountability of all ultrasound equipment Performs clerical duties as necessary for the department What qualification you will need for this role: Current registry or registry eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or by Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Must be registered within 3 months of hire date Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course, as specified in policy Graduate of an accredited school of Echocardiographic Study (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Associate Degree (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer Benefits Wesley Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
