1 Description American Traveler is seeking a travel Echo Technologist with a minimum of 6 months of current acute care experience and RCS or RDCS certification for a 13-week assignment in an echocardiogram unit in Wichita, KS. Details Echocardiogram unit within an acute care hospital in Wichita, KS Small team of 3-4 staff members 1:1 patient ratio Uses GE Echo machines Meditech EMR (prior experience preferred) Procedures include Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) Monday through Thursday schedule, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM 13-week contract Requirements Minimum 6 months of current acute care experience as an Echo Technologist within the last 6 months RCS or RDCS certification required Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted) required — certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date Ability to assess heart valves and blood pressure preferred US SSN and DOB required for consideration Professional reference required License required if applicable Additional Information Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms in an acute care hospital setting Candidates must not have employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates will be considered No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months will be accepted
