Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel EP Tech to support cardiac electrophysiology procedures at leading healthcare facilities nationwide. In this contract role, you'll assist physicians with EP studies and ablations, operate mapping and recording systems, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures. You'll prepare rooms and patients, maintain sterile technique, monitor rhythms, and document accurately. Responsibilities Assist physicians with complex cardiac electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures Operate EP mapping, recording, and fluoroscopy equipment safely and accurately Prepare patients and rooms for EP procedures, maintaining strict sterile technique Monitor cardiac rhythms and hemodynamics, communicating changes to the care team Document procedures, equipment settings, and patient data in the medical record Travel to and integrate quickly with various hospital EP lab teams nationwide Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot EP lab equipment and supplies Adhere to Fusion Medical Staffing and facility policies, promoting safety and quality of care Required Skills Electrophysiology lab procedures EP mapping systems (e.g., CARTO, En Site) Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation Radiation safety and fluoroscopy use Sterile technique and cath lab protocols Intra-cardiac electrogram recording Hemodynamic monitoring EP lab equipment troubleshooting Electronic health record documentation Patient preparation and recovery in EP lab
