Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital role within a dynamic cardiac care environment as a Cath Lab Technologist. As part of a specialized team, you'll deliver advanced imaging support, collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, and play an integral part in facilitating excellent patient outcomes. This contract opportunity offers an engaging, patient-focused setting where your expertise will directly impact care quality.
Schedule/Hours:
Choice of (3) 12-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts per week Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call may be required during the contract (no regular weekend or holiday shifts) During a 13-week contract, anticipate 1-3 weeknight on-calls and potentially one weekend on-call
Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification (with RCIS required) Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Cath Lab preferred) At least 1 year of travel technologist experience strongly preferred Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams Commitment to customer service and patient/family-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform advanced cardiac catheterization imaging procedures with accuracy and safety Work in partnership with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain thorough documentation of procedures and patient information Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care as needed Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain cath lab imaging equipment Uphold adherence to hospital safety standards, protocols, and best practices
