Job Description

JOB DETAILS
Purpose of Position Under the supervision of the Cardiologist's, and following established technical standards, provides Echocardiography ultrasound images of the heart and related structures of adult and geriatric patients for Cardiologist interpretation. Performs 2-D, M-Mode, Pulse/Continuous Wave Color Doppler Capable of writing preliminary interpretation. Performs emergency studies as required. Maintains echo lab records and patient charges. Participates in the activities required to maintain echocardiography changes and updates. Fulfills the educational requirements of the clinic and all accreditation and licensing agencies governing the delivery of care. This includes, but is not limited to, current CPR certification and attendance at mandatory office in-services.
REQUIREMENTS
Sonographer, Echo Experience:
1 year Certifications(At least one of the following): RDCS-AE-American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography(Copy needed), RCS-Cardiovascular Credentialing International(Copy needed)
