1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of IR experience and current ARRT-R certification for a 13-week assignment. Details Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting Procedures include tunneled catheter placements (mediports, permacaths, Hickman lines), embolizations, drain placements, suprapubic catheter placements, PEG tube placements, and Pleurx catheter placements Pain management procedures include epidural blocks and radiofrequency ablations Vascular procedures include angiograms, thrombectomies, fistulograms, and IVC filter placements The unit also handles cases in CT and X-ray, though floating to those areas is not required 5x8-hour day shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM; Wednesday 9:00 AM-5:30 PM No on-call or weekend shifts required Every other holiday coverage is required Requirements Minimum of 2 years of IR experience required Prior travel experience required Current ARRT-R, ACLS, BLS, and fluoroscopy permit required MD state license required if applicable Proficiency with the Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm required Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on the lethal rhythms section 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration Additional Information Scrubbing for IR, vascular, and pain procedures is a core responsibility of this role Orientation is held every Monday Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are accepted
