1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/IR Technologist for a 13-week assignment at an acute care Level II Trauma hospital, with 4x10-hour day shifts and on-call requirements including STEMI response. Details Work in a Cath Lab/IR setting at a 360-bed acute care Level II Trauma hospital Caseload of 8-12 cases 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM On-call required, averaging approximately 7-10 days per month STEMI Call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation One full weekend of call required per month No floating between units required Charting via Cerner and McKesson Requirements Current BLS and ACLS certifications required ARRT certification required, or RCIS with IR experience MD state license required if applicable IR experience required if holding RCIS credential Two professional references required for consideration Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Additional Information Performs cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures This facility has a strict no-tobacco/nicotine policy and tests for nicotine and cotinine — candidates who use any form of nicotine (cigarettes, vapes, patches, gum, etc.) will not be eligible for this position Scrubs are provided Parking is available at no cost to the traveler with a facility badge Block scheduling is not available for this position
