1 Description American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for Cardiac Interventional Radiology with 2+ years of experience and current ARRT (R) and BLS certification. Details Interventional Radiology unit performing cardiac interventional procedures 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM 13-week assignment length No call anticipated (rare) No floating required Uses MiChart (Epic) documentation system Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience Current ARRT (R) and BLS certification required; ARRT (VI) preferred Michigan state license required if applicable (non-compact) Experience with PACS, fluoroscopy, and Siemens equipment Skilled in room circulating, scrubbing, and maintaining sterile field technique Proficient in equipment setup and prepping access sites Additional Information Responsibilities include equipment setup, access site preparation, room circulating, and maintaining sterile field as scrub tech Scrubs are provided First-time travelers accepted Two professional references required from a manager or supervisor (charge RNs not accepted) No RTO permitted during the first week of the contract; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Traveler pairs are not accepted Permanent staff may return as travelers after a one-year separation Candidates employed by the facility within the last 12 months are not eligible to apply
