Qualifications:
Certified and registered as a Cath Lab Tech (RCIS or equivalent) Previous experience in a high-volume cath lab setting strongly preferred Proficient in scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Demonstrated knowledge of operating imaging equipment and interpreting cardiac images Adaptability to fast-paced and evolving clinical settings
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging and monitoring equipment Prepare patients for procedures, offering support and clear explanations to enhance comfort Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control protocols Document patient data accurately and ensure timely completion of all associated records Actively collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
