This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Echo Techs, Cardiac Sonographers, and Medical Instrument Technicians looking to work in a high-acuity cardiovascular care environment alongside a collaborative cardiology team. Cardiac Sonographer Responsibilities Prepare and position patients for echocardiography procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process Select appropriate imaging techniques, calibrate and adjust equipment, and operate laboratory equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Review and verify image quality to ensure diagnostic standards are met, and communicate with providers for further evaluation Maintain detailed patient records, documenting procedures, complications, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations Collaborate closely with cardiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and support comprehensive patient care Complete QA/QI documentation and follow all established patient safety and infection control standards of care Cardiac Sonographer Requirements Current certification in echocardiographic imaging through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), or through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Minimum of 1 year of experience in echocardiography/cardiac sonography Current, full and unrestricted certification, with no history of restriction, suspension, revocation, or denial Competency or certification in vascular imaging a plus, but not required Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative cardiology team Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently Schedule Full-time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM
- 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid break) On-call rotation required: one weeknight per week (5:00 PM
- 7:30 AM) and one weekend in four (Friday 5:00 PM
