Job Description
Position Summary The Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) is responsible for preparing the procedure room, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting physicians during endovascular and minimally invasive procedures in a high-efficiency outpatient setting (OBL and ASC). Key Responsibilities Pre-Procedure Prepare and organize procedure rooms for vascular and interventional cases (PAD, dialysis access, embolization, venous procedures) Ensure all instruments, wires, catheters, and supplies are available prior to case start Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping Maintain strict sterile technique Intraoperative Scrub in and assist physician during procedures (angiograms, angioplasty, atherectomy, stenting, embolization) Anticipate physician needs and pass instruments efficiently Prepare and manage devices (balloons, stents, atherectomy systems, embolics) Maintain sterile field integrity Post-Procedure Assist with sheath removal and closure device setup (Mynx, Angio-Seal, manual) Break down and clean procedure room Ensure efficient room turnover to maintain case flow Additional Responsibilities Inventory management and restocking Assist with device tracking systems (e.g., FlexScan) Maintain equipment readiness Adhere to infection control and safety standards Qualifications Surgical Technology training or equivalent experience CST preferred but not required Experience in vascular, IR, or cath lab strongly preferred Schedule Monday-Friday 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM Consistent outpatient schedule (no nights, no weekends in most cases) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Health, dental, vision PTO Growth opportunity in a high-volume vascular practice Why Join MINT High-volume, efficient outpatient model Strong case mix (PAD, dialysis access, embolization, venous) Team-oriented environment with experienced operators Predictable schedule with early finish
