The Advanced Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist performs advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients alongside the care team and other medical staff. Responsibilities include serving as a resource, superuser, and assisting in orientation and training. The role demands a strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile technique, and advanced imaging technologies to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for patients with heart-related conditions. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.
Position Details:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hour or completion of RCIS training certification.
Experience:
Two (2) years of relevant experience
Licensure:
State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
Certification/Registration:
ARRT (R) or CCI(RCIS); Basic Life Support (BLS)

Knowledge of advanced protocols and ability to make adjustments as needed Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
  • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
