Skills Needed:
Strong background and proficiency as a CVOR Tech Current and valid certifications related to CVOR Tech roles Familiarity with all aspects of operating room protocol for cardiovascular cases Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, maintain, and monitor CVOR equipment and instruments before, during, and after surgical procedures Support complex cardiovascular surgeries, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating nurses Ensure a sterile, organized environment to facilitate smooth workflows and positive patient outcomes Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and transport as needed Adhere to the highest standards for infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adopt new clinical techniques
