Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic cath lab environment at a reputable teaching hospital known for exceptional cardiac and vascular care. This contract role offers the opportunity to work within a Level I Trauma facility, designated Magnet status, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center, supporting a team dedicated to clinical excellence and innovation.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour day shifts (0730-1800) On-call rotation with cardiac and vascular cases (details to be discussed during interviews) Weekend and holiday coverage expectations, with flexibility during RTO events
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of cath lab experience required BLS and ACLS certifications; ARRT-R or RCIS credentials needed Must have direct cath lab experience and peripheral angiogram/run-off experience Willingness to learn endograft, EVAR, or TEVAR procedures if not already experienced (training available) Strongly preferred: background in interventional radiology or experience working with vascular surgeons Open to first-time travelers Must reside at least 50 miles from the assigned unit
Key Responsibilities:
Assist and perform procedures for a wide range of cases including NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip, and various vascular interventions Collaborate with a seasoned multidisciplinary team, including code and ECMO teams, and benefit from in-department support resources Utilize advanced technology such as EPIC EMR, Merge Hemo, Alaris pumps, Philips and GE imaging equipment, and
ISCV PACS
Attend comprehensive orientation, including department and facility modules, before joining the call schedule
