Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Contract A leading healthcare facility is seeking a skilled professional for a vital role specializing in CVOR technology. This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated individual experienced in supporting surgical teams and patient care within a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) environment.
Key Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CVOR Tech or related nursing role within a surgical setting Strong knowledge of operating room procedures and sterile techniques Current certification as a CVOR Technologist (or eligibility to obtain) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Excellent teamwork, communication, and adaptability in fast-paced situations
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and operating room supplies before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures Assist surgeons and the surgical team with sterile instrumentation and equipment Monitor and uphold strict adherence to infection control and safety regulations Perform accurate instrument counts and equipment checks Facilitate timely setup and turnover of operating suites Maintain clear documentation and communication with multidisciplinary team members
