In this vital role, you will perform advanced vascular imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions. Your expertise will support interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, and other diagnostic evaluations within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your technical skills, physiology knowledge, and commitment to patient care in a setting that values innovation and excellence. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations, including duplex scans, arterial and venous studies, and other diagnostic procedures with precision and attention to detail. Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures and cardiac catheterizations by providing real-time imaging guidance. Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate documentation of patient physiology during procedures to ensure safety and optimal outcomes. Apply aseptic techniques rigorously to maintain a sterile environment during invasive procedures. Interpret sonographic images to identify abnormalities, contributing to accurate diagnostic evaluations for vascular conditions. Maintain thorough records of all procedures performed, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers, demonstrating adaptability in emergency medicine situations. Experience Proven experience performing vascular sonography in a clinical setting, preferably within a cath lab or similar environment. Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures, including familiarity with cardiac catheterization techniques. Experience working in telemetry units or emergency medicine environments is highly desirable. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to vascular health and diagnostics. Prior exposure to Level I or Level II trauma centers enhances the ability to manage complex cases efficiently. Demonstrated proficiency with diagnostic evaluation tools such as sonography equipment and related imaging technology. Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail and patient safety.
