Weekly About the Role ShareSTAFF is hiring a Cath Lab Tech for a contract assignment at a Hospital in Bricktown, New Jersey. ShareSTAFF is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist for a travel/local contract assignment on the New Jersey Jersey Shore. This is a day-shift role, 7:00 AM-6:30 PM, working 4x10-hour shifts for 40 hours/week, supporting invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures including Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) support and pacemaker placement. The role includes weekend coverage as needed, one summer and one winter holiday, and required on-call participation (7-10 shifts over the assignment). Ideal for a Cath Lab Tech with strong recent interventional experience who wants advanced, high-acuity cases at a well-established cardiovascular program near the Jersey Shore. What We Offer Weekly pay - every week, on time Tax-free housing and meal stipends for travel assignments Travel reimbursement Referral bonuses - earn extra when you refer a fellow healthcare professional Dedicated recruiter support before, during, and after your assignment Extension opportunities and access to new assignments nationwide What You'll Do Prepare procedure rooms, sterile trays, and specialized equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures Assist physicians during invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures Support temporary and permanent pacemaker placements Assist with circulatory support devices, including Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) Set up, calibrate, and monitor hemodynamic equipment Obtain, calculate, and analyze hemodynamic data, cardiac output, and oximetry readings Operate power injectors and associated sterile equipment Assist with patient positioning and monitoring Maintain digital imaging and cardiovascular information systems (CVIS) Assist with vascular access, sheath removal, radial band application, and hemostasis Recognize and interpret cardiac arrhythmias Maintain inventory and ensure procedure readiness Follow radiation safety and infection prevention protocols Participate in the department's required on-call rotation Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality checks Physical requirements: lift up to 40 lbs., push/pull up to 100 lbs., stand for extended periods What You Bring - Required Valid New Jersey license (or proof of application, when requested — per RightSourcing's blanket note for this client) BLS (AHA) Radiology Certification — flag: listed as "required" in the schedule-notes table but as "preferred" in the full certifications section further down the same document.
