Short Description Offering $55/hr for Registered Cardiac Sonographer II PRN Required to work Saturdays and Sundays for 10 hr shifts Obtain 2D and 3D echocardiograms with color and Spectral Doppler in the echo lab and at the bedside of high patient acuity. Imaging patients on ventilators, ECMO and Impella Perform Stress Echocardiograms and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms as requested. Assist Cardiologist with TEE, Pericardial Centesis, and code coverage. Support sonography training across multiple disciplines (physicians, fellows, students, etc.). Recognize the need for agitated saline and contrast agents, IV insertion if necessary. Cultivates a collaborative and cooperative work environment within department Level II per diem sonographers are required to work nine (9) weekend shifts per 6 week schedule Weekends are defined as Saturdays or Sundays. Must schedule themselves for the full shift, as assigned, in order to meet these work requirements Weekday shifts pro-rated to level 1 per diem rate Must work two (2) holiday shifts per year (1) winter and one (1) summer Experience Required Seeking an individual who has at least 1 year experience. Proof of required clinical hours from an accredited formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovasular Technology Education Requirements Graduate of an accredited formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology Program is required License/Certification Requirements Must obtain ARDMS or CCI certifications for Adult Echocardiography as a required by each entity within 6 months of employment Special Requirements 7a-5:30p or 6a-4:30p Saturday and Sunday 10 hour shift--9 weekend shifts in a 6 week period no on call requirement
