1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 1+ years of experience performing adult echocardiograms and TEE procedures in a non-interventional cardiology setting. Details Non-interventional cardiology unit performing echo and TEE procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients Patient ratio of 5:1 Must independently perform at least 7 adult echos per day Uses HMS and Freeland systems for echo reporting 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Call required, including after-hours and weekend rotation No floating required Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent experience in echocardiography required BLS and ARDMS certification required RDCS, RCS, or ACS credential required NM state license required if applicable Experience performing adult full and limited echos and TEE procedures required Pediatric experience preferred No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Active driver's license and US Social Security card required for consideration Additional Information Perform adult full and limited echos, TEE procedures, and clean TEE probes Write preliminary echo reports Scrubs may be any solid color RTO requests must be less than 1 week and cannot fall within the May 6-18, 2026 blackout period Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered First-time travelers may be considered
