What You'll Do:
Perform diagnostic echocardiograms (2D, M-mode, Doppler) on adult and pediatric patients Coordinate exam scheduling and transport with hospital departments Assist cardiologists during exam dictation and measurements Manage exam documentation, patient records, and billing information Respond promptly to patient needs and report any changes in condition Maintain equipment quality, cleanliness, and supplies Support departmental performance improvement initiatives Participate in on-call coverage for emergency echo exams Keep updated on advances in echocardiography and seek mentorship as needed Assist with other cardiac-related procedures as required
What You Need:
ARDMS/CCI
registration or comparable national accreditation New Mexico Echo Sonographer License BLS certification (American Heart Association) 2+ years of echocardiogram experience preferred Strong communication, organizational skills, and manual dexterity Ability to work efficiently under pressure and collaborate effectively About the
