Qualifications:
Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred Minimum of 1 year recent CVOR Tech experience in an acute care setting Proficient with cardiovascular operating room protocols and instrumentation BLS certification required Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows
Responsibilities:
Assist surgical teams in cardiovascular operating rooms, ensuring proper sterile technique and equipment Prepare and organize operating room supplies, instruments, and equipment prior to procedures Monitor and maintain aseptic field Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, and anesthesia providers to optimize patient care Perform instrument counts and documentation with precision Respond effectively to emergent situations, supporting the surgical team as needed
