Key Qualifications:

Current registration as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or ARRT preferred) Extensive knowledge of cardiac imaging procedures, equipment operation, and sterile technique Previous experience in a hospital or clinical cath lab environment Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and interventional procedures Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining composure in high-pressure situations Demonstrated proficiency with radiographic and imaging technology specific to cath lab BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain prior to start)

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring accurate and timely image capture Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, providing essential support in urgent situations Document procedure details and maintain accurate patient records per clinical standards Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control policies, and regulatory requirements Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with biomedical staff for maintenance as needed Contribute to a patient-focused atmosphere, providing empathetic care and clear communication
