Vascular Procedures Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Scrub Technician to assist with a variety of vascular procedures, including both diagnostic and interventional cases. This role requires strong sterile technique, organization, and the ability to anticipate physician needs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain a sterile field for all procedures. Prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for vascular cases. Assist physicians during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining flow. Handle vascular equipment including wires, catheters, balloons, and stents. Ensure proper setup, function, and breakdown of procedural equipment. Assist with room turnover and preparation between cases. Monitor and restock inventory of procedural supplies. Adhere to infection control and safety standards. Support patient positioning and procedural setup. Procedural Exposure May Include Angiograms and venograms Angioplasty and stent placement Peripheral vascular interventions Other endovascular procedures
Qualifications:
CST preferred (or equivalent experience). Experience in Cath Lab, IR, Vascular, or OR settings. Strong knowledge of sterile technique. Familiarity with vascular instruments and procedural workflow.
