Your technical expertise and commitment to patient care will be instrumental in supporting complex cardiovascular procedures. Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as a CVOR Tech or Surgical Technologist with CVOR experience Recent, relevant hands-on experience in a hospital Cardiovascular OR setting Strong understanding of sterile techniques and instrumentation for cardiac surgery Ability to effectively anticipate surgeon and team needs during procedures BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred Excellent communication and organizational skillsResponsibilities:
Prepare, maintain, and ensure proper function of CVOR instruments and equipment before, during, and after procedures Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating nurses to facilitate safe and efficient operations Maintain highest standards of aseptic technique and patient safety throughout all procedures Accurately count instruments, sponges, and supplies, reducing risk of retained items Assist with preoperative set-up and postoperative equipment breakdown and sterilization Respond promptly to emergent situations in a high-pressure OR environment Document relevant data and support compliance with regulatory standardsBenefits:
