GED Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Screens patient and obtains pertinent information. Provides care for patients during cardiac stress testing. Provides care for patients during nuclear medicine and ultrasound procedures. Responds to emergency care. Maintains the exam rooms and work environment. Maintains patient safety. Provides support to the clinic as needed.
Qualifications:
Education High school diploma or equivalent GED required with 8 years of experience in a patient care clinical setting evaluating and monitoring EKG's, or LPN or completion of Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field. Experience Prefer at least one year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care. Experience in office clerical activities desirable. (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC. Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma is preferred or BS in Exercise Science preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training or re-training is required during first 6 months of employment. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment. Compensation/Benefits $17.39-$28.40/hr depending on previous work experience.
