Position Summary The Lead Special Procedures Tech performs various cardiovascular and angiographic exams in accordance with established protocols. This person exercises professional judgment in performance of service, and coordinates area of technical specialty. They also demonstrate leadership of unit through a variety of duties such as staff scheduling, evaluations, mentoring and coaching, fiscal oversight, and problem resolution. They perform duties of manager in their absence, as assigned. Position Qualifications Experience 4 years experience as a CVL Special Procedures Tech is required Proven experience in EP, Cardiac or Non-Cardiac Angiography is required Education Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred
Certification/Licensure ACLS:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required upon start
BLS:
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon start Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) is required upon start
RCES:
Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist within 18 months of hire is preferred One of the following:
CI:
Cardiac-Interventional Radiography within 18 months of hire
VI:
