Job Summary Must use independent judgment in applying knowledge of clinical cardiology and problem-solving skills to optimize the evaluation, tailoring and expanding the exam to ensure comprehensiveness and diagnostic accuracy. Must have a positive attitude, ability to work as a team, ability to take direction, ability to manage multiple tasks and the desire to give patients a positive experience. Candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, punctual and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Details:
Full-time (40 hours per week), 10-hour shifts Includes full benefit package including 401k Salary is commensurate with experience Essential functions: Performs prescribed ultrasound procedures using a variety of equipment to get preliminary measurements. Must be competent at the performance of adult echocardiography, vascular and contrast studies. Must follow department imaging protocols, appropriately acquire all study measurements per protocol, create digital preliminary reports for the interpreting physician, and verbally communicate preliminary findings to the interpreting physician when necessary. Prepare, supply and equip ultrasound rooms for studies. Must be able to travel to satellite clinics if needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited diagnostic ultrasound program required.
Experience/Training:
One-year direct patient care experience in cardiovascular ultrasound preferred.
EPIC EHR
experience preferred. Studycast imaging software experience preferred.
License/Certification Oregon:
Current Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. RDCS or RCS credential required or able to be acquired within six-months.
