1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for a Level 1 trauma acute care Cardiac Cath Lab requiring 2+ years of experience and current
BLS/ACLS
certification. Details Acute care setting within a Level 1 trauma Cardiac Cath Lab Unit consists of 8 fluoro rooms and 1 minimally invasive room without fluoro Uses Epic EMR along with XIM (Philips charting), Pyxis, Xcelera, Siemens and Philips fluoro systems 4x10 hour shifts with varying start times (0530-1600, 0630-1700, or 0730-1800) On call approximately 1 call per week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks with a 30-minute response time May be placed on the mandate list to fill vacant call shifts not otherwise covered No floating to other units or departments Requirements Minimum 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience required Current BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA) RCIS or RCES certification preferred License required if applicable Experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring peripheral/vascular cases, right and left heart caths, and EP cases Comfortable working in a Level 1 trauma acute care environment Additional Information Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring peripheral/vascular cases, right and left heart catheterizations, and possibly scrubbing devices and assisting in EP cases Orientation will focus on monitoring using the XIM charting system and effectively scrubbing and circulating in procedures Ceil blue scrubs are provided All clinicians are required to badge in and out at the facility Accepts local candidates within an 80-mile radius of the facility Candidates with prior employment at this health system must have an end date at least 6 months before their submission date
