Here's What You Need High School Diploma or equivalent 1 Year of GI clinical or hospital experience strongly preferred ProVation documentation/reporting system experience preferred One of the following certifications preferred: o CNA (Certified Nurse Aide) o MA (Medical Assistant) o EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req What You Will Do Assists physicians and nurses with GI procedures Sets up endoscopic equipment including specific individualized equipment after assessment of patient. Assists physicians and RNs throughout procedures Handles instrumentation from basic to complex procedures. Takes actions to reduce or eliminate patient risk
