Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Cardiac Stress Technician, where you will play a vital role in assessing and monitoring cardiac function through stress testing procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment dedicated to improving patient outcomes. You will be responsible for preparing patients, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring accurate data collection during cardiac stress tests. Your expertise will support cardiologists in diagnosing and developing treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular concerns. This paid position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in interventional cardiology and diagnostic evaluation within a leading medical facility. Duties Prepare patients for stress testing procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety. Operate and monitor advanced cardiac stress testing equipment, including treadmill, ECG, and pharmacologic stress systems. Record vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and ECG readings throughout the test. Maintain strict aseptic technique to prevent infection during procedures involving invasive or semi-invasive equipment. Assist with diagnostic evaluation by analyzing physiological responses and documenting findings accurately. Collaborate with cardiology team members to interpret test results and ensure quality control of data collected. Adhere to safety protocols. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to cardiac function and stress testing. Proficiency in ECG monitoring and diagnostic evaluation methods used during stress tests. Ability to measure and interpret vital signs accurately while maintaining patient safety at all times. Familiarity with aseptic techniques essential for preventing infections during invasive procedures. Knowledge of the operational protocols within Cardiac nuclear medicine testing. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members. Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
