Your responsibilities will include:

Leading surgical preparation by organizing suites, equipment, and instruments to ensure readiness for every procedure Scrubbing in and supporting surgeons through complex cardiac surgeries, anticipating needs and maintaining a safe, sterile environment Guiding and mentoring surgical technologists, serving as a role model while training new team members and reinforcing best practices Overseeing quality and safety by managing counts, handling specimens, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards Driving teamwork and efficiency through effective communication, rapid problem-solving, and support for on-call and emergency cases Experience Previous cardiovascular experience as a Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist- required Lead Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist experience-preferred Education Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program and successful completion of the certification exam Licenses and Certifications Surgical Technologist that graduate after September 1, 2009 must hold and maintain a current certification as a Surgical Technologist within 180 days from the date of graduation. Certification must be from: 1. The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or its successor; 2. The National Center for Competency Testing or its successor; 3.
