1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Rowlett, TX, requiring 4+ years of experience across Cath, IT, Vascular, and EP cases. Details Cardiac Cath Lab setting in Rowlett, TX Procedures include arteriograms/catheterizations, permanent pacemaker implantations, diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral procedures, EP cases, and thrombolytic therapy 4x10 AM shifts with potential to move to 5x8s based on department needs; specific schedule to be discussed during interview Virtual/phone interview Requirements Minimum of 4 years of Cath Lab experience including Cath, IT, Vascular, and EP cases Active BLS (AHA only) and ACLS (AHA only) required RCIS or ARRT (R) required TX MRT required Active TX license required if applicable Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and complex invasive cardiac and vascular principles Proficiency with radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment 2 professional references required for consideration DOB and SSN required for consideration Flu shot required; no exemptions granted Additional Information Responsibilities include scrubbing in and assisting physicians with invasive cardiovascular procedures, circulating in procedure rooms, and collecting procedural data Monitors patient ECG and vital signs throughout procedures and notifies physician of any variances; provides emergency response (CPR, defibrillation) as needed Performs pre- and post-procedure patient care, transport, and orientation Records and calculates catheterization data including gradients, LV grams, cardiac outputs, and peripheral stenosis Maintains sterile fields, manages procedure room inventory, and ensures equipment readiness Follows national and state radiation protection regulations Scrubs are provided Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
