• $65/Hour Temple, TX | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Multiple Shift Options CornerStone Medical is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Technologist) for a 13-week travel assignment at a state-of-the-art acute care hospital in Temple, Texas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled echocardiography professional looking to work in a high-acuity, Level I Trauma environment while earning a competitive hourly rate.

• 2:00 PM Department Non-Invasive Cardiology Position Summary The Cardiac Sonographer performs comprehensive cardiac ultrasound examinations for adult patients, including transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and stress echocardiography studies.

The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, independent, and capable of identifying cardiac abnormalities while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. Responsibilities Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound procedures utilizing advanced imaging equipment Obtain accurate measurements and diagnostic images for physician interpretation Identify cardiac abnormalities and adjust imaging protocols as needed Assist physicians during complex cardiac procedures and intraoperative studies Support transesophageal echocardiography procedures with cardiologists Review patient histories and clinical data to ensure comprehensive examinations Educate and prepare patients for procedures while providing excellent patient care Maintain echocardiography equipment and report operational issues Assist with quality improvement initiatives and accreditation activities Serve as a resource for staff, students, and providers regarding echocardiography procedures and techniques Qualifications Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Sonography experience required Previous Level I Trauma experience required Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles Excellent communication and patient care skills Required Certifications BLS Certification (AHA Only) Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Why Join CornerStone Medical?
