Qualifications:
Current certification as a CVOR Tech (or eligibility) Minimum 2 years of recent cardiovascular OR experience Proficient knowledge of cardiac and vascular surgical procedures and instrumentation Strong communication and team collaboration abilities BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
Responsibilities:
Assist surgical teams in cardiovascular and thoracic procedures Maintain a sterile field and manage instruments and supplies efficiently Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols Anticipate surgeon needs during specialized operations Accurately document operative activities and maintain operating room readiness
