Job Description

Full-time Cardiac Sonographer responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound procedures to support physicians in diagnosing and treating heart conditions in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound procedures Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams Obtain accurate images and measurements for physician interpretation Operate and maintain cardiac ultrasound equipment Review patient history and physician orders prior to procedures Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout examinations Accurately document imaging findings and patient information Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams Follow infection control, HIPAA, and departmental safety standards Assist with additional cardiovascular diagnostic procedures as needed
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program ARDMS or CCI certification required Current BLS Certification required Strong knowledge of echocardiography procedures and cardiac anatomy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
Previous cardiac sonography experience preferred
