1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist for a Cardiology unit requiring 4+ years of high-acuity echo experience and ARDMS or CCI certification. Details Work in the Echo department within a Cardiology unit Patient population includes CAD, hypertension, post-TAVR, TEE, and pediatric patients (typically 3-4 pediatric patients per week) Uses Epic EMR 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week Float between outpatient and inpatient settings, including a nearby clinic location Weekend rotation of every other weekend (1 in 3 currently) On-call requirement of 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend every 4th weekend, with 30-minute response time Any scrub color permitted Requirements Minimum of 4 years of echo experience at a high-acuity, fast-paced facility Current BLS certification required ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification required, if applicable Experience with CAD, hypertension, post-TAVR, and TEE patients required Pediatric echo experience preferred Ability to perform high-quality scans on a wide range of common echo patients Strong clinical judgment and quick decision-making skills Additional Information Consistently deliver high-level, quality diagnostic imaging Candidates will be evaluated for first-time travel eligibility upon review Employee parking available on-site
