Experienced dental treatment coordinator

Duties Dentrix Ascend experience is required Verify insurance benefits, submit claims, and follow up on reimbursements using systems Dentrix ascend Reviewing treatment plans with patients in clear, easy-to-understand terms Explaining procedures, sequencing, benefits, and alternatives to improve case acceptance Presenting fees and payment options , including financing plans and in-office policies Verifying insurance benefits and explaining estimated coverage and patient responsibility Obtaining pre-authorizations and tracking insurance approvals when needed Coordinating treatment scheduling based on clinical priority, provider availability, and patient needs Answering patient questions and addressing concerns or objections professionally Following up on unscheduled or pending treatment to improve completion rates Communicating with the clinical team to ensure accuracy and consistency of treatment plans Maintaining accurate documentation in the dental software (notes, estimates, consents) Supporting a positive patient experience through professionalism, empathy, and clear communication Requirements Proven experience as a dental treatment coordinator (at least 2 years) or in a similar dental office management role with a focus on treatment planning and patient communication. Strong knowledge of dental office software Dentrix Ascend Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic experience environment.
